There are many forms of Web services. For the initial phase we are focussing on providing resources following the
REST Web services style. Our resources are the models, queries and results, and each will have a persistent location (URI) through which it may be fetched or manipulated. We will use the existing verbs of HTTP to do this.
Future work
We may wish to provide wrappers for heavier Web Services interfaces which sit on top of our REST scheme, to allow developers familiar with those tools to more easily converse with a PerformDB installation.
